Subject: DiPietro or Cianfaglione families in Pratola Peligna
Greetings From Columbus, Ohio,
My grandparents immigrated to America from Pratola Peligna in 1916. They were both from Pratola Peligna. Her name was Maria Cianfaglione and his name was Palmerino DiPietro. My grandfather died at a very young age and left my grandmother with four children. She spoke only Italian and could not read or write in English, but through hard work and determination, she did very well for herself and her family. She sent letters and packages to nieces and nephews in Pratola, but since her death we have had no contact. If anyone has any information that could be of assistance, our family would greatly and sincerely appreciate it. Thank You Very Much.
