My maternal grandfather immigrated to the US from Pizzoferrato in the late 1800's. His last name was Daquilante; I also have cousins with the last name of Casciato, also from Pizzoferrato. My mother and her sister still make pizzelles every Christmas over a wood fired cook stove, using my grandfathers cast pizzelle iron. Any information would be helpful to me. Thankyou!
