They were from Musellaro, province of Pescara, Abruzzo. They arrived in the U.S. between 1900 and 1902. I know my grandmother, born in 1875, had a brother Paul and a sister Marion. I do not know anything else about her mother and father. : My grandfather, born in 1869, is difficult to do a search on since he was put up for adoption and was given the last name of Zecchia by the orphanage. : Just curious if anyone else researching these surnames. I'm sure Marinelli is as common in Italy as Smith is in the U.S.!: Thanks: Michelle Michelle: My family is also from Musellaro. The name is Tabellione. I knew a Mike Marinelli from New Britain, CT whose daughter's name is Michelle. Coincidence, or you the same person? We just visited Musellaro in October and it was breathtakingly beautiful.
