My Grandfather was Pasquale Faraone. He came to the U.S. via Ellis Island in 1902. He settled in Pennsylvania and then eventually moved to Rochester, New York after he married my Grandmother in Hazelhurst, PA. My Father and his borthers and sisters were all born in Rochester. My Father moved to California in 1955 and I was the last child in our family of 4 children. I was born in California in 1957. My Father was, Thomas James Faraone. My Grandfather's father was Domenico Faraone and his wife was Domenica Faraone, all from Delinuova, Reggio de Calabria. I have had a professional Family Tree done by Italian Family Tree.com. They have traced my Father's family back to the early 1700's (all from the same area) and after they conduct the research on my Mother's family, we will go back even farther with the Faraone's. My Great-Grandmother was Domenica Faraone. She may be your husband's aunt. Please feel free to contact me if you want more information. I believe his Father came from Delianova Reggio Calabria. : : : His Grandfather Elia Faraone was Killed in the First World War leaving two chidren, my Husbands Father and his Aunt Domenica. They were bought up by relatives (Caruso) in Sinnopoli. We believe there are some Relatives in California U.S.A.
