Ciao Tutti!!! My father and paternal grand-parents are all from Rocca San Giovanni, Provincia di Chieti, Abruzzo. Apparently my grandfather, Ciro, immigrated in the late 1800's,he worked for the railways, my father believed he was the first Finoro in the Guelph area. In 1919 my grandmother, Anna, and their three chidren immigated to Guelph, Ontario, Canada, later another child was born, making four. My father's name was Mauro, his first job was in a foundary(age 12 years), and later, and until his retirement, at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate. I believe my father changed our last name from Finoro to Finora, though I am not sure of the reason. I new a Tomaso Caravaggio who lived in Guelph in the 70's, he moved his family to Rocca San Giovanni, his spouse's name is Gracietta, they had three chidren, Nicolo, Giovanni and Lucia..I believe. I'm not sure, but I understand we are related to the DeNardis family, though I don't know the geneology. Ciao, Livio
