But, interestingly enough, there is a tie between my Giuseppe Manna & a member of a DeVito family. This might help you or help you help me: Antonio DeVito's wife, (Julia ?), is listed as Giuseppe Manna's sister on the Immigration manifest I found at the National Archives, although Giuseppe's children thought him to be an only child. When he arrived in US in 1897, he lived with the DeVitos in Clinton, Mass through (at least)1900 according to census documents. The records also show that the DeVitos had several Italian borders, probably a way for them to earn income. I think this DeVito also had a tie to a midget semi-pro baseball team in the Syracuse, NY area in the early 1900's! (From our family stories). Anything ring a bell?
