The town that i mentioned earlier (San Tomasso) also has one of the oldest cemeteries in the area, and when i was there last year i saw quite a few Sanelli names on the monuments. The cemetery is built on the side of a mountain (just like all the towns around there)and overlooks the town of S.Tomasso. Leo, My grandfather spoke often of San Tomasso. I'm really looking forward to my visit there. I will be sure to check out the cemetery. I'm not sure if my Sanelli's were from S. Tomasso but I do know that they didn't live in Caramanico itself but one of the small hamlets associated with it.
