As you can see my name is also Castricone and my parents came from Popoli, Abruzzo, but settled down in Edmonton, London,N9 England. The dates that you have requested, are from 1910, my father would have been 13yrs old at this time and as he is now 78yrs old and doesn't have a very good memory please be patient with me so that I may extract some information from him gently. To date, we as a Castricone family are the only family with this name known to us, my brother has ended the line with two daughters. Please do not be disapointed with any answers that you may get as the name Castricone is a regional name and was quite popular. : : I am trying to find information about my father and grandparents. Any help would be appreciated. They come from Popoli, Abruzzo. Thanks!: Hello: my grandfather, Giovanni (later changed to John) Castriconi was from Popoli. He came to the US around 1910 and settled in Dennison,Ohio. He later changed his name to John Kastre. My father, Dominic John Kastre, is 87 and lives in Michigan. We would be interested in obtaing any iformation possible about the history of the Castricone/Castriconi family.
