This is a beautiful little town known internationally for its ceramics. There is an interesting museum and lots of little stores to purchase the beautiful ceramics. The town sits on the side of a mountain with views of the Gran Sasso. Also, the national park is beautiful in Abruzzo. Also, the town of L'aquilia is very beautiful and historical. Might I ask how you found the place to rent? Was it via the internet?
