I would be interested in finding : any information about my family. The archives are publicly available for research for your place up to 1910. In the archives your father's birth act can be obtained, and it will contain the names of his parents and usually the father's age. After that you can either look up for more siblings forward and backward from 1901, or, if you already have this information, from the age of your grandfather look for his birth and find his siblings in the same way, and so on until archives have available data. We are based in Abruzzo, so this is the method we use in the archives. If you understand some Italian you can do that on the microfilms available at the Latter Day Saints' Family Centers in the USA.
