: I was recently in Roseto degli Abruzzi and my cousins there showed me a posting from Abruzzo2000
: from Teresa Travaglio. For some reason, I never saw the posting and I cannot find it on this website.

: Teresa posted it in May, 1999. Teresa, if you are reading this, please e-mail me at paul- AT - maggettiproductions.com.
: I would like to "compare notes" and see if we are related. I have had great success finding relatives
: in my Maggetti branch and because of the successful research, I now have met some wonderful family
: in Italy. There are still the Travaglio, DiBonaventura, and D'Ascenzo branches to explore.

: My maternal grandmother was Catherine Travaglio. We believe her father was Michael Travaglio,
: from Campbasso. Catherine was born in America circa 1901. Please send me a message if you
: read this posting. Thank you.

I have just emailed you about the D'Ascenzo branh you mentioned. My grandpa and his brother, (Angelo and Giuseppe D'Ascenzo), emigrated in the early 1900's to the US, (Pennsylvania, and Minnesota, and California), from the town of Ateleta, Aquila, Abruzzi.

I have not found all of his relatives...just lost track as I have seen so many others have also.

Thank for you help.

Ciao.

Diana
