The sixth child of John Patrick Scalzitti was Agostino Scalzitti ( my grandfather -who I never met).His son Romeo Scalzitti (my father) was born May 5, 1895 in Scontrone and came to the USA when he was about 16 years old.He died in 1973.He never returned to Italy during his life.
On our trip to Scontrone in 1998 , we visited the Catholic Church,but there was no one there.Some people in town took us to the Scalzitti mausoleun.We found Agostino's vault but there was only his name but no dates.Since we could speak no Italian and people we met could not speak English no more information could be obtained.
I will try to attach a family tree that my aunt gave me 11 years ago,but there no dates.John Patrick Scalzitti----Great Grandfather

Domenica and Innocensia may have been sisters -nee D'Achille.
Their father(Scally)may have been from Switzerland.Records in Rome
