Why do you think Vincenzo Lombardi came from Milan? The Lombardi surname may have appeared in Abruzzo since 1400-1500, when maestranze (construction workers and enterpreneurs) came from Lombardy, and might also be derived form the "Longobardi", the population that invaded here in about 600 AD. Also, in one act (1893, death act for Maria Rischitelli, at 35 years old) a "Carmine Lombardi" is mentioned as a declarer, from the age he may have been a brother to Vincenzo - Ant if you go to http://www.paginebianche.it/pbol/home/index.html and write "Lombardi" in the 'cognome' field and 'Tocco da Casauria' in the 'comune' field you'll see interesting connections.
