My family has the surname Scipione via my great grandmother, Amelia Scipione who married Orazio D'Amato in Nocciano sometime in the late 1800's. My father, Donald D'Amato and I visited my Scipione & D'Amato relatives in 1983 in Nocciano. My father's gfather was Donato D'Amato. He came to the US in early 1900's. He moved to Boston where my father was born and grew up. We moved to Rhode Island and our family has remained there ever since. I now live in Sacramento,California. Please write as soon as possible to let me know where you are and how your family is connected to mine if possible.
