My trip was amazing! I love it there. If my Italian was better I'd probably skip out of the US for good! I was hoping to get more done on my family tree while I was there. I expected to have tons of resources at my fingertips, but nope. Apparently they're not as into this as I am. They just said, don't worry about it, you're related to just about everyone here somehow. I got some names, but not all the details I hoped for. I visited the cemetary which apparently after a period of time, remains are removed. So none of my way back relatives were there. But it was a fabulous trip and I got to see the home where my great grandfather raised my grandmother!
Thanks for replying! Maybe we're relatives! But I also learned there are multiple families of Manna's there.

: : Hi! Working on my family tree. Looking for surnames MANNA and RANALLI from Collelongo in L'Aquila province. I am visiting Collelong in August! I'm so excited! Anyone working on these names please contact me! Thanks....

: Hi Lisa, I hope your trip to Collelongo went well, my family and I are visiting there again this year. I was born in Collelongo and moved to Canada with my family when I was a child.

: My maternal grandmother was a Manna. There are still alot of relatives still around that could help with your search. I would find it intereting to see what you discovered while in Collelog last year. Hopefully you will pick up this message and reply. Good luck and take care.
