Hallo Mark, let's see if this works! After all, e-mailing is like sending messages in a bottle. I hope this will be found. Well, about Silveri relatives, I remeber with real pleasure a Michelina Valeri, married to my great uncle Sante (Santuccio) Silveri. They lived in a house in via della Fonte, and died in the early 1970s, if I remember well. They had three children: Gino, Speranza (incredibly enough, a man:there is a story and if you want I'll tell you about it)and Rossana, one of the beauties of the family. As a child, I used to go to Castelvecchio quite often, even if I had no grandparents there. At that time, I didn't particularly like it, so I stopped going as soon as I could. A couple of years ago I went there, just as a driver for my father, because there was a funeral. I didn't know the dead, so I was not involved; what I had was a full-immersion meeting with scores of relatives and friends I had not met for about twenty years. I loved every minute of it, since the Silveris are quite famous for being blue eyed, extroverted and talkative, but sometimes (or often) eccentric. Please let me know something about you and your wife, and if you are really going to Castelvecchio next summer we could also meet. Ciao to you Patrizia
