Cara Patrizia,
My husband, Mark, was just filling me in on the correspondence he has been having with you. I am not computer literate so I never go on it. I just read your last e-mail to him. I did not realize you are in Rome. I thought you were in the USA. Your English is very, very good.
My mother and father were both from Castelvecchio Subequo. My father's name was Remo D'Addamio. He died in 1977. Unfortunately he never returned back to Castelvecchio but made sure that my mother and myself went back numerous times to visit. I would spend my summers there before returning for school.
My mother's name is Rossana Valeri and coincidentally Michelina Valeri is her father's sister. I remember her. She was so Kind.
I remember sometimes not wanting to go there for the summer because as a teenager I wanted to stay home with my friends but now when I think about it they were the best times. Mark and I love to go there. I only wish that we had more time to stay.
We were planing to go to Italy this year but I am afraid to travel right now. Mark thinks we should still go. We will just have to wait and see.
I hope to hear from you soon.

Ciao
Delfina

P.S. Curious to know about the story of Speranzo
