She was born 12/14/1875 in Montagano, Campobasso. Parents were Giovanni Jannitto (or however it is really spelled) and Sarafino Palumbo Jannitto. I believe she had a brother named Angelo Jannitto born Montagano 1869, married Angela Tomasso and came to New Jersey in 1891. Their children were John, Emily, Mafalda and Peter . Peter would be my dad's cousin and I notice that a Peter L. Jannitto tried to post to the board on 3/16/01 but must have been unsuccessful since I cannot retrieve his message. If he reads this, please, Peter, try again... I'll bet we have a common ancestry somewhere! My grandmother, Concetta Marie Jannitto Fasciani also had a sister who moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina and married a Mr. Luis Mastrandrea. My grandfather's siblings were Joseph (moved to Rasario, Argentina, had no sons but a daughter named Angela who married a Mr. Cachi and had a daughter Maria who married a Mr. Ramirez whom my father has been in written contact with for a few years), Antonio (whom I know nothing about), and Gaetana who married a Mr. Marinelli and has descendents in Cleveland, Ohio.
