Posted by peteypro  --  NAME: Peter Alberici on 03/06/02 at 2:08 PM Subject:   Coia surname My father Paolo Alberici was born in Tocco da Casauria on May 22, 1893. His first wife was Carmela Coia born March 10, 1899 and died on December 19, 1928. Her mother was Antonia Tielle and her father was Carmine Coia (all from Tocco da Casauria). The only siblings that I know of are: her brother Loreto Coia born in 1874 and her sister Antoniella born in 1892. Uncle Loreto's descendents live in an area not to far from me (Turnersville, NJ). I hope that this has been of some help to you. By the way, Zio Loreto had thirteen children. So much for the comment that "there doesn't seem to be many Coias around". Follow Ups:
