Ciao. I was merely looking up my family name and saw the name of DeMarco and Boccabella families. I am not sure how the DeMarcos are related to the Boccabellas but I'll tell you a bit about myself and my family. I was born in Navelli, Abruzzo, Italy and immigrated to America in 1955. My father's name was Pietro and he had three brothers, Francesco, Carmine, Giovannni, and a sister named Beatrice, who died as a young girl in the influenza epidemic that hit Europe in the late 1900s. My family lived in Brooklyn, New Yoek, and I now live in Boston, MA. I am very interested in discovering about my ancestors and the ties that these revelations bring to me. I know that my father's father had several brothers and they travelled extensively throughout the world. For example, I am somehow related to John Boccabella who played for the Montreal Expos and the New York Mets and I believe currently lives in California. He, I am certain, is a descendant of one of my grandfather's brothers.
Let me know if there is someone out there that answers to one of the most beautiful names. Ciao for now. Mario
