: : : : My name is Vittorio and my family and I are from Cerchio. If anyone reading this is familiar with my hometown or knows people there, I would love to hear from you. Puoi scrivere in italiano. My address is vasquenz153- AT - cs.com.

: : : Vittorio, my name is Liana, I am a Canadian presently living in Cerchio. My family immigrated to Canada, I was born in toronto but 10 years ago I fell in love with Italy and an Italian from Cerchio. I have been living there for 7 years. As it turns out my best friend os Liliana Vasquenz and I know alot of Ciofanis. Let me know if I can help out in any way my e-mail in italy is lianag- AT - infinito.it and in Toronto is lou.gualtieri- AT - 3web.com.

: : : Ciao Liana

: : Liana;
: : I am a Ciofani from Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA. My father and his eight brothers and sisters were born here. The earliest in 1918. My grandfathers name was Pausquele & my grandmother went by Jennie. Unfortunately my aunts & uncles seem to know little else.
: : My research seems to show that there are over 250 Ciofanis still in Italy, and many in your region.
: : I would love to find the area my grandfather was from, where my grandmother was from (they say she lived close to my granfather), and if they were married in Italy or the US.
: : Thanks
: : Mike Ciofani

: My name is Giuseppe: may father Angelo has born in Cerchio. Several relatives of my father are in Cleveland (Ohio). Now I leave in Pisa (the city of the Leanding Tower). The country of origin of our surname is the MARSICA in Abruzzo and, because it was a very poor region, several Ciofani has gone away. Now there are more Ciofani in USA then in Italy.

: Bye
: Giuseppe
