: What a great site!I was so happy to find Abruzzo 2000 as I love this beautiful region. My mother's family D'Andrea/Colamarino comes from Alfedena, Pescocostanzo and Castel di Sangro. Many emigrated to the U.S.A. I would love to hear from anyone with ties to this area. Ciao.

So do I. My sincere congratulations to the designers. Truly outstanding site.

My ties to Castel di Sangro are through my paternal grandfather, Vincenzo CINCIONE, who was born there. I don't have much yet but that his parents were Aurelio C. and Maria PIETROPAOLA. A brother, Atilio and sisters, Concetta, Marietta and Margharetta.
The family emigrated to Argentina circa 1880-1900.
I'm doing research on it so hopefully I'll learn more.
I am very interested in the region as I don't know exactly what towns are involved in this besides C. d. S.
Plus from what I've seen the Abruzzi is a beautiful region.
Maybe I'll visit it someday.

P.S. Now I've a Euro soccer team to root for; "Castel di Sangro". Did you read "The Miracle of
Castel di Sangro"? (No, its subject isn't religious)
