My husband's Father Tony was born in Italy and raised in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He was the son of Antonio John Ganga (born in 1875 in Capastrano,Italy and Nicolleo Secinaro (born in 1886), also Capastrano. some years ago members of the family went to Italy and found the very house their Father was born in, said to be "in the shadow of Saint Giovanni's Church". I am trying to go back and find additional family but have be unsuccessful so far. Some people have told me that the name GANGA may have been shortened. Both Spain and Portugal were named as possibilities. I have tried to write letters to the Church but it has been over a year now and nothing.
