: I am Patrick Opipari, eldest son of Iolanda Cafini. She was the daughter of Aureilo Cafini and Madelena Paradisi, both from the town of Pescara del Tronto. Aureilo came to the US before WWI and paid for his citizenship by honorably serving the US Army. He was wounded twice. He came to this country after his brother, Giuseppe had arrived and arranged for his passage. He worked briefly in the coal mines of PA , but moved to Detroit.

I am Pasquale Opipari, son of Salvatore Opipari and Iolanda Cafini. My mother's parents are Aurlio Cafini and Madalena Paradisi, from the town of Arquata del Tronto. This information comes from immigration records. My grandfather, Aurelio was one of 4 children, Giuseppe, Cristofero and Clelia. Only Cristofero remained in Marche. My grandmother, Madelena was one of 4 or 5 children of Pietro Paradisi . In addition to Madelena, there was Olivia and Domenica, who also lived in the Detroit Michigan area. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.
