Subject: Antonio Abruzzese
I have been looking for information on Antonio Abruzzese for some time now. I do not know for certain
where in Italy he came from,but family rumour has it
that he came from Picinisco to Glasgow,Scotland in 1891
or thereabouts. His parents were Charlestino (or Celestino)Abruzzese and Teresa Pacita. They were farmers. Antonio came to the UK under the chain migration scheme. Married my Great Grandmother Mary in
1892 and had 3 children. I have tried the Stato Civile
in Frosinone looking for a birth certificate,they have
told me to try Caserta Stato Civile. Does anyone know
where else I can try? Unfortunately,I cannot research
our Italian ancesters until I find out this piece of
information.
