: : Looking for family information early 1900 and late 1800, people came from Rionero Sannitico to Cleveland

I'm a Descendent of the Frabottas from Cleveland... my Nana.. that's all I know of her.. perhaps Rosemary? Rosa? Rosa... that's it.. is.. still alive.. was married to Peter Frabotta, recently passed away.. they're my Great Grandparents and I'm interested in Italian Citizenship.. Their parents were born in Abruzzi/o ... Spaltore... I believe on the Adriatic.. which had at one point a role in transport of pilgrims of (Jewish?) lineage to Jerusalem.. Please assist me in linking these relations so that I might pursue my Italian citizenship and know more about my bloodline..

Sincerely,
Joshua (Giosue)

: RE: I've got some information for the FRABOTTA surname.
: The part of the history I know starts with the brothers Giussepe and Antonio from Casabona, near Rionero Sannitico.
: Both went to America to work, because of WW1 they had to remain on that side of the Atlantic. They returned in the 1920's and while Antonio settled back in Italy, Giussepe returned to America with most of his family.
: Both brothers had six children.
: I am the second last of Antonio's grandchildren.
: Antonio was also known by his nickname as 'Il Romano'
: He was born in 1888, and his six children are Enrichetta (still living in Casabona), Carmela (who died, Alfredo (in Neuquen, Argentina) Maria (in Buenos Aires, Arg.) Armando (my father, in Bs As. Arg.) and Julia (in Bs. As.).
: Today this branch Frabotta family are mainly in America (mostly descendants of Giussepe), Argentina, and Australia.
: If any one knows some of the descendants in Cleveland I would like to trace some of the stories and links.
