100: Any Marulli Family from Capestrano?Heritage Forums - September 2000 |

My grandfather, Francisco Antonio Marifredo Pio Luigi Marulli (later Frank Pio Marulli), was born in Capestrano, L'Aquila, in Abruzzo, in November, 1913. His mother was Anna Micalone Marulli and his father was Giuseppe Marulli. My grandfather came to the United States in the early 1920s with his mother. His father had already settled in Iron Mountain, Michigan, where they joined him. Anna later returned to Italy where she died. My grandfather later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and finally to San Diego, California, where he died in 1984. He had a brother, Alfred, and a sister, Lisa Tagliente, who both died in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Follow Ups:
