Hi Anthony,

The Santacroce's in my husband's family are as follows:
Camillo Santacroce, born in Popoli, date unknown; he died before 1886; married Maria Cavallero also of Popoli, who also died before 1886. Their children (at least the 2 I know of) were Liberata (born abt. 1849) and Domenico (born bet. 1841-1846). Domenico married twice, 1st to Sofia de ? (can't read name on at least 5 copies of docs I have!) and Filomena Antinarelli, both of Popoli. Domenico and Filomena moved to Bussi sul Tirino at some point, because all of their children were born in Bussi.

My family visited Popoli and Bussi this past summer and had a marvelous time. The area is absolutely gorgeous and we're ready to go back anytime. I didn't know at that time tho that our Santacroce's went back to Popoli, so I did no research there unfortunately. I have been researching microfilms ordered from the Family History Center but it's extremely time consuming when you don't read the language and the handwriting is hard to read. Any help you can give on names and dates that might be relevant would really help pinpoint what films to order and what dates to look at. Do you know whether or not there were other lines of Santacroce's in other villages? I also received a message from an individual researching Santacroce's from Lettomanoppelo, but I have no idea where that village is.

Thanks for your reply and help, Anthony! Hope to hear from you soon.
