My grandmother came over here from italy what part i don't know too much about her. her name was filomena colangelo and was married to Francesco Faccinto who came from the province of Forenza and Basilicata. she lived most of her life in stamford, ct. she died at 26 on july 4, 1915 of TB. Not knowing what to do her husband Frank put the 3 children into an orphanage in new haven, ct. highland heights and tried to go back to Italy. I do not know what happened to him. I am an only child of Anthony Joseph Facciuto and Gertrude Donohue from Hamden, Ct. I see that we live close to each other.I now live in MI. My dad had a brother William Peter Facciuto who was born in Hartford. Ct. in 1910 and sister Rosa Faccinto who was born in Stamford. Ct. along with my dad. Just recently i found cousins, (sept.2003) who are related to me in Hartford, Ct. area. Their grandfather vito di rocco and Francesco were brothers. I have my grandmothers' death certificate, she was born in jan. 3, 1889. Please reply to efacciuto59 Follow Ups:
