Di Genova was and is a common name in Casacalenda. I am sure you still have relatives there. If you give me more details about your grandfather, his date of birth for example, I will see what I can do when I next go there.

I was born in Casacalenda in 1949 and go back regularly. Casacalenda has a fascinating history for a town of its size (less than 3000). If you read Italian, a new history of the town "Casacalenda, Paese Sereno" was just published in September.
