Subject: Rocco DiTullio, Abruzzi (need any info.)
My G-Grandfather,Rocco DiTullio b.1875 in Abruzzi, arrived in the USA from Italy,according to U.S.census in 1897.(could the U.S.consolate in Naples have any ducuments from his international travel request?)
He moved to Calif.in 1909? 1920 Ca.census was filed by his wife Elena who spelled his surname "Tulio" and his Death certificate 5/28/1924 only identifys that he was from italy.
My grandfather had always talked of his dad being from
Abruzzo,(Abruzzi)Italy.
He first lived in Massachusetts, U.S.A. where his
first 2 sons were born - Anthony in 1904 & James in 1906. Then moved with 1st wife Beatrice Datre'(they may have been married in Italy) to 447 Robbins Ave.Bronx, N.Y. where daughter Maria DiTullio was born 9/18/1906. Beatrice past away birthing Maria and they moved to L.A. abt.1908/1909 as Rocco re-married Elena Cianci and had:Olympia,Domenico,Violet,& Corvie.
the two half brothers "Anthony" and "Jimmy" moved to Northern Ca.(Santa Clara?San Francisco?)shortly after their Dad Rocco died in 1924 .
I seek the families of these relatives in this exciting search....
any information on Roccos family from Abruzzi? Sicerely,
