Holly,
My name is Thomas Lee Monacelli. I was born in Chicago Heights, Ill in 1942. My fathers name was Peter Monacelli (also born in Chicago Heights). My grandfather was Fillippo Monacelli (Born in 1871 in Alfedena, Italy). His father was Anlonio (Born Feb. 1843). I can go back about three more generations if you like. My Grandfather (Fillippo) was married to Filomena Carbone on Sept. 22,1895. I know Filomena had relatives in Albion, NY. but I have no information about them
There was always talk around home that Filomena's mother's maiden name was also Monacelli. But I cannot verify that. I don't think Fillippo had any family in Albion, so the relations there could have been from Filomenas mothers side.
I can see this sounds somewhat confusing. Hope you understand and it is of some help. Would you please let me know if you make any connection?
