I tracked down his granparents to Isola del Gran Sasso (Teramo). His Grandparents were: Umberto De Berardinis (son of Ferdinando De Berardinis and of Maria De Plato) Umberto was married to Anna Do Giacomo (also from Isola Del Gran Sasso).
