I don't know if he came from Tussio...but my great-grandmother Angelina (nee Sidonio)..married name Di Mattia lived in Caporciano (on the Navelli plain...approx. 2o minutes south of L'Aquila). She had 3 kids...my grandmother Maria (who settled in Buffalo, NY) and 2 sons...Giovanni (who settled in Aliquippa PA)...and another son - who committed suicide as a young man (can't remember his name...grandma didn't talk about him) You can email me at ldicenso56  --  NAME: if any of this makes sense.
