I was tracing back my family roots when I stumbled accross this site. I have been to Italy only once in my life, back in 1972 when my father took me to my roots. I still have very vivid memories of that beautiful mountain village and hope shortly to bring my teenage children there to experience it. My paternal grandfather Gersio, was born and raised in Pietracamela and immigrated to Canada (Montreal) in 1929. I believe that I still have distant cousins there with the surname Leone. Follow Ups:
