For sure Cetteo is a name! I have it! Unfortunately now is not so common. The area were it was used is only Pescara and sourrondings. Now is considered not modern and parents prefere any kind of stranger names. Best regard! Carlo cetteo : : Would these names be possible in the late 18th and early 19th century?: : I am having a little trouble reading the script?: : Grazie a tutti!: I know Rosalia is a name. For Cetteo all you have to do is use a search engine and you get the following:: PESCARA - St Cetteo or the Temple of Conciliation: According to an ancient passion legend, Cetteo was a saint, a martyr and a pilgrim. In fact, this legend narrates that after the martyrdom the body was carried by the waters of the Pescara river as far as the sea. Here the local people piously rescued the corpse for they recognised the signs of Christian faith in the remains. Since then the Bishop of Amiterno has been patron saint of Pescara. The first stone in the Cathedral was laid in 1933. The white stone façade has a straight corona and the interior has a basilica layout with a nave and two aisles separated by marble columns. The central part terminates in an apse, whilst the elevated transept terminates in two side chapels: that on the right dedicated to the patron saint, that on the left is the funeral chapel of Luisa d’Annunzio, mother of the poet Gabriele.
