Maria was born in 1878, and came to the US with her parents the first time in 1886 as an 8 year old. When her father died tragically, Maria and her mother and sisters returned to Italy. Her 2nd move to America was with her husband. My maternal grandfather, Raphael Olivieri came to the US with his mother Nicholangela and his wife Maria Theresa Dellapenta who were al from Compobasso.
