IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE : WE MUST HAVE BEEN RELATED. : BY THE WAY THE FIRST RESIDENT OF ANCHORAGE ALASKA : WAS A CAMPOBASSO MAN (CAMPOCHIARO) IN 1879 : MOST ALL THE BUTTINO'S AND DELLAPENTA'S ARE : FROM CAMPOCHIARO....I HAVE BEEN THERE OVER 20 : TIMES. I am looking for information about both the Buttino and Dellapenta names and cannot seem to go further back than my grandmother's parents names. These are on my father's side of the family. Also to further complicate things, when my mother's father, Rafael Olivieri, arrived in the US, he went to stay with his uncle Antonio DellaPenta near Endicott. I suspect from this information found on the Ellis Island website, that my mother's family and father's family were related somehow as they were all from Compochairo. I knew a Tony Cordeleone in Endicott. He used to own a neighborhood bar called Mike and Louie's and is in his 70's now. Please write to me. Thank you.
