My grandfather was Fred Lerza, who migrated to the US in 1892 or so, and ended up in Lodi CA in the early 1920s where his cousin James Lerza was already living. Not sure if this is the same James Lerza. My grandmother was an Egizzi, BTW. Both were from Capestrano, a village above Sulmona in Abruzzi. My father's cousin's very extended family lives in Sulmona.
