Posted by dpandri- AT - us.ibm  -- NAME: Douglas Andriole on 04/19/01 at 5:44 PM Subject:   Surname Andriole/Andreoli My grandfather arrived in New York in 1885 from Abruzzo (per word of mouth from my aunts and uncles). Since there is not one surname in Italy at the present time of Andriole, I am assuming that our surname was changed and Andreoli or Andreola might have been his correct surname (speculation on my part). If there are any Andreoli's or Andriole's out there who have been doing any reasearch I would love to hear from you.
