In the archive of Teramo there are books of records for Cellino from 1809 to 1910. And our Genealogy Section recently purchased a copy of the catasto Onciario of 1747 where two Croce families are already recorded.
As to your grandmother Carita the spelling should be carita' with an accent on the final a, and throughout the province of Teramo there is one only result in the white pages, and that person lives in Cellino!
So if you are not yet in contact with her, we highly suggest writing a letter.
