He was from Campobasso in Italy, more specifically Macchiagodena. His name was Felice Ciccone and he was born in 1911 in the US and returned to Italy to live until his late teens. His parents names were Nicola Ciccone and Lucia Meo. My mom went there last year but there are many people with the same surname in the town.
