Posted by tim.zarlingo- AT - asu  --  NAME: Tim Zarlingo on 05/15/01 at 5:44 PM Subject:   Biovanum Vetus? near Pietrabbondante I have posted requesting information on this map location, near Isernia before, and the administrator graciously replied it is old Latin for Old Boiano. Upon visiting Central Italy I had documents of the Duke of Boiano in 1454 granted land to Zarlenga, a noble family. I also have records of jousting. I found hundreds of Zarlenga's in Pietrabbandante and Castleverrino, but was looking in current Boiano for land records and was about 50 miles away. Do you know why Bovianum Vetus has a question mark on maps, and how I can get further information?
