Hi. Updated information from previous post. I am researching Scarpitto/Scarpitti and Innacito/Tannacito from Roccasicura Italy. My ggf Antonio Scarpitti (changed to Scarpitto when he came to the US) was b. 12/23/1863 to Vincenzo Scarpitti and Dolorosa di Fiore or D'Iorio. His grandparents were Crescenzo Vincenzo Scarpitti b. 2/7/1822 and Maria Ciarlone and his ggf
was Antonio Scarpitto b. around 1790. My ggf married Carolina Iannacito 7/4/1893 and he immigrated around 1895 - haven't found out exactly when Carolina came over but it was before 1901 (their 1st child was born in North Adams, MA in 1902). Carolina was born
4/30/1872 to Saverio Iannacito (son of Raffaelle who wasn't alive at the time she was born) and Mariantonia Berardi. I believe Carolina had at least two brothers, Carmine and Domenico Iannacito born 1869.
Just wondering if anyone else is researching for Scarpitti, Iannacito, di Fiore or D'Iorio, Ciarlone, and Berardi or any other names from the Roccasicura, Molise, Italy area.
