Message 3: Altobelli and Corona Families from Villa

Subject:   Altobelli and Corona Families from Villa

I have just begun researching my boyfriend's family and have ittle information to begin with. Although I am making progress, I seem to have come to a brick wall.

I am told that my boyfriend's father's father (Ottaviano Altobelli) and mother (Lula or Louise Corona Altobelli) immigrated from Villa Vallelonga in the Abruzzo Region of Italy to New York in the early 1900's. I know that they lived in Rochester, NY where my boyfriend is from. I understand that Ottaviano's father was Francesco Altobelli and his mother's name was Vincenza. I believe that Francesco and Vincenza had 13 children, and I am not aware that all of them came to America although I believe that Francesco and Vincenza DID come to America.

Does anyone have any information that could help? Thanks in advance!!!!!
