Of course Rome is much bigger! In Ortona and sorrounding you can find delicious italian food and typical product, ceramics, jewellery, etc. if in summer beautiful beaches. And you can also visit other towns in the region. In summer time should you use the aeroline from Toronto to Pescara, weekly. If you came trough Rome Fiumicino airport: You take a train to ORTEe and stop at roma Tiburtina station. In the square right side of the station you can find bus to pescara (until 2100). Some of them go to Ortona. From Pescara you can catch a Train o bus to Ortona. Good hotels in both cities.
