Subject: Follow up on Castelnuovo di San Pio
Hi,
DiProspero is not a very common last name, even in the region that we came from in Abruzzo. There is a website in Italy that does give some information on how many DiProspero's there are across all of Italy and by region. Pratola Peligna is not very far from Castelnuovo. All that I can offer is that there were only a handful of DiProspero's in my town and there is now only one family left. I am sure that we are probably distantly related...
