He was my grandfather's best friend, and was born in 1887 in Civitacampomarano, now a town in Molise, but back then, it was a part of Campobasso. He emigrated with my grandfather and lived with us until he died in 1966. He left a wife and daughter back in Italy. They never emigrated, but he dutifully sent money back. Hope this helps.
