James, I want you to know that this is also one of the first times I have been on this sight, and I want to thank you for responding. You are right, it is hard to find a Dichristofano on this side of the Midway airport, but we are out there. As to the name's origin, that is what I am also trying to find. I think we came from the providence of Campo Tosto in Abruzzi... and during about WWI the Dichristofano family came over to the US. The name was changed a bit to simplify it... the variations differ from D'christofano to Cristofano and all in between. Please respond to this message, I hope it aided you in your search a little.
