: : : Interested in learning more about my family's genealogy so I can pass it on to my three little girls. My father is Pasquale Ricciuti, my grandfather was named Domenico Antonio (married Assunta Spadaccini from Roccamontepiano I believe) and emigrated to Canada in the early 1960's with his family.
: : : My grandfather was born around 1915. His father's name was Paolo (aka Paolin) (married to a lady named Santa aka Santarella), and his father's name(my great great grandfather) was Luigi Ricciuti.
: : : My father was raised in Pagnotta a small village near Pretoro, but I believe the Ricciuti family came from Campobasso.
: : : Anyone with family ties?
: : : Ciao Antonella

: : Antonella,
: : I recently began researching my paternal genealogy. My grandfather was Nicola Sorgente, born 1890 in Pietracatella, Campobasso. My grandmother was Esther Ricciuti, born about the same time in either Campobasso or Crecchio, Chiete. You are the first I have come across bearing the name, however, I am pretty determined, as you are I'm sure. Unfortunately, I have no other information on my grandmother's family, only her name and approximate birthplace. If you can provide any other leads, I would be very grateful.

: : Ciao

Hi

I have to ask my mother for bit more information but quite a few of my reletives came from a town called Palata not far from Compobasso sorry not sure of the spelling. My Father Pasquale Ricciuti grew up in a vilage called Aqua Viva Colle Croce which is not far from the towns mentioned. My parents migrated to Western Australia - Australia around 1960 - 1961?
I will speak to my mother to find out a lot my information so I will keep you posted
